Following in the foot steps of the hugely popular NMD R1, an official release date is given for this brand-new and re-engineered style. Whether you love or hate this range, you'll no doubt appreciate the more refined look of this silhouette. Removing certain features and adding a unique Primeknit, this shoe boasts on-trend appeal that could be even more sought-after than the predecessor.
Despite the universal success of adidas’s ‘Nomad’ runner, some sneakerheads still aren’t convinced with this futuristic design. Taking the sneak back to basics, the good folks at adidas have removed those large EVA midsole plugs in favour of embossed branding. It gives an all together cleaner aesthetic, putting all the emphasis on the soft knitted upper.
And that Primeknit is what makes this design so desirable. Textured with a line print running through, the base shade of black is contrasted by dark grey detailing. As always, this extends into a sock like ankle surround while three stripe welded branding features to the sidewall. To compliment, a chunky suede overlay hits the heel with an embroidered tab for easy on, easy off functionality.
The adidas NMD R2 Black Primeknit is scheduled to release on Friday 2nd December via the retailers listed. Keep checking back for more updates and alerts.
