We just can't get enough of the CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 "Rose Gold Silk". After getting a very brief glimpse at the end of last year, we're now getting up close and personal with Edison Chen's latest and greatest Swoosh collaboration, and we're not at all exaggerating when we say that this could be one of his best ones yet.
Decked out in luxurious silk that's smooth to the touch, the "Rose Gold Silk" is dipped in a premium pink makeup and stitched with a traditional Chinese pattern, just like 2009’s "1WORLD" and 2018's "Silk Force 1". A full grain leather Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while a yellow gold deubré emphasises this Air Force 1's opulent aesthetic.
Of course, if you didn't know already, the upper of this AF1 actually peels away over time, revealing a mysterious base layer that's sure to turn heads. While this concept has been done previously, it's safe to say that the Hong Kong-based fashion designer does it best.
Moving downwards, a clean white Air midsole is present, and this is lined with a gum rubber outsole for durable traction with every step.
A release date has yet to be officially confirmed for the CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 "Rose Gold Silk", but if the rumours happen to be true, they should drop sometime at the end of this month to align with the Chinese New Year 2020 festivities. Let us know what you think of this sneaker, and in related news, the Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low "Cactus Jack" also features a tearaway upper!
