New York based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham is always looking to push boundaries, and for his next project, he has teamed with Amsterdam’s Studio Hagel to rework the adidas Futurecraft 4D silhouette.
Utilising Arsham’s collaborative Futurecraft 4D as its foundation, Studio Hagel has turned the minimal shoe into a maximalist design that is inspired by space boots. The Futurecraft’s 3D printed midsole and Primeknit toebox were removed and then stitched together with the high-collared sockliner of an EQT BBall Boot to create a handmade, moon-landing ready piece of footwear.
If you thinking of copping the adidas Futurecraft 4D boot, unfortunately, it’s only a one off production. In related news, adidas Originals is creating the ultimate hybrid sneaker with the I-4D.
