This is next level. It looks like adidas Originals have just made our sole-swapping dreams come true with the upcoming I-4D. Unveiled by @py_rates, this crazy sneaker will be the first to release as part of the ‘adidas Hybrids‘ series, where, essentially, the Three Stripes will be taking two shoes and reworking them into one.
The upper present on the I-4D is borrowed from the I-5923, adopting the sneaker’s knitted mesh construction and premium suede overlays, whilst the 3D printed midsole is clearly taken from the coveted Futurecraft 4D, which was recently crowned by Time Magazine as one of the twenty five best inventions.
Dropping in ‘Red‘ and ‘Footwear White‘ colour options, the adidas Originals I-4D is expected to release sometime in Autumn 2018. We’re beyond hyped for this and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for the adidas Hybrids line. What do you think of this sneaker? Will you be copping? What two sneakers do you want to see together? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below, and be sure to take a closer look at the Daniel Arsham x adidas Futurecraft 4D.
