Ever since adidas Originals unveiled the Futurepacer back in June, sneakerheads everywhere have been (im)patiently waiting for a ‘Triple Black‘ version, and now, the Three Stripes have taken the wraps off an all-new black scheme.
Inspired by the revolutionary adidas Micropacer of 1984, the Futurepacer takes influence from the past but steps into the future. Painted in a murdered out colourway, the Futurepacer boasts supple leather panels throughout its upper, and sits on top of a full length Boost midsole. A subtle hit of dark green is present around the back, and the heel tab and EVA plugs give this futuristic sneaker an aesthetic that resembles the legendary NMD R1.
If you can remember, this exact colourway leaked back in December of last year, so we’re glad that it’s finally hitting shelves on September 1st.
