Leaked images posted on the Insta account of @EVERYTHINGAIRMAX gives a detailed look at the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra Silver Bullet. The trainer is designed in the same iconic colourway as the OG but gets a durable and lightweight upgrade.
According to that Insta page, this is a womens exclusive but Nike is yet to confirm or deny! Hopefully, a unisex size run will be available which wouldn’t be surprising given the success of the previous Quick Strike, a major success with both sexes.
Most of Nike’s Ultra variations are characterised by a Hyperfused upper – technology which allows for a seamless engineered upper. It’s way more durable than the conventional not to mention lighter in weight and easier to wipe clean.
While the same colours are utilised, this ‘Ultra’ Silver Bullet does remain unique thanks to the fade-away pattern which transitions from the forefoot to the ankle. There’s more darker tones than the original and chunky reflective stripes circle the shoe for even more eye-catching sheen.
That same unique pattern hits the lower half where a contrasting red Swoosh stays true to the original.
So far, there’s no confirmed launch date for the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra Silver Bullet. Given the durable detailing, this could likely be a late summer or early autumn release.
Stay tuned for confirmed info as soon as it comes through.
