For the past four years, Kanye West and adidas have been collaborating for some of the hottest sneakers in the game. With six different silhouettes and a multitude of distinct colourways, the hype that comes with each and every release is truly unprecedented, and while they definitely aren’t as limited as they used to be, they still sell out within seconds.
This month, Yeezus has gone little bit crazy with the drops. Usually, Yeezys would drop once every few months, but for March, Mr West is releasing not one, but FIVE new sneakers all emblazoned with the iconic Yeezy moniker. From the chunky 700 to the iconic 350 V2, here’s every single Yeezy that’s dropping this month!
The cream of the crop (or should we say, the cop), the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 ‘Inertia’ is, without a doubt, one of the hottest Kanye sneakers to drop since 2015. Unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, this dad shoe is painted in an ultra unique tint with light orange accents throughout. Dropping on March 9th, if you only cop one pair of Yeezys this month, make it these ones.
Next stop, we have the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Clay’. First leaked at the start of the year, the ‘Clay’ is painted in a predominantly orange hue with a transparent side stripe running down the lateral side panel. Dropping as part of the three-sneaker ‘Special Release’ collection, it’s exclusive to North and South America, and will release on March 16th. Expected to be extremely limited, these are a must for any collection.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Hyperspace’ is also dropping as part of the ‘Special Release’ collection on March 16th. Painted in an ultra clean off-white hue, this is the most minimal of the three-sneaker range. Releasing in select cities in Africa, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and India, the ‘Hyperspace’ has got to have the most quantities since it’s being sold to two of the most highly populated countries in the world.
The final sneaker from the hotly anticipated ‘Special Release’ collection, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘True Form’ is like the ‘Beluga’ on steroids. Regarded as the best of the bunch, a grey Primeknit dresses the entire upper, while a ‘Static’-inspired stripe shoots across the laterals. The Boost midsole fades from grey to orange for a look that’s made to turn heads. Dropping March 16th, these are exclusive to Europe, Russia, and Ukraine.
To round off the month of March, we’re getting our second 700 V2 with the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 ‘Geode’. Like an inverted version of 2018’s ‘Static’, these earthy runners are painted in black, brown, and grey hues, and feature the same over-detailed aesthetic that we’ve come to love. Set to drop one week later on March 23rd, you can’t go wrong with a pair of ‘Geode’.
As a bonus addition to this list, this month also saw the release of the adidas Powerphase ‘Footwear White’. Although this isn’t strictly a Kanye sneaker, he actually released his take on the tennis sneaker back in April 2017 through his wildly popular Calabasas line. Painted in all-white, a full leather upper is present and the signature adidas window graces the lateral side panels. Available since March 1st, you need these retro runners right now!
If white isn’t your colour, the Three Stripes also unleashed the adidas Powerphase ‘Ecru Tint’. Boasting the same shade as the ‘Sesame’, these feature the exact same look at the ’80 tennis sneaker. Powerphase branding comes embossed along the laterals, while an EVA midsole and split cupsole provide wearers with extra stability and support and unbeatable comfort and cushioning.
