Last weekend’s release of the Yeezy Powerphase Black was an interesting one. Despite the hype surrounding this third colourway of the ‘Calabasas‘ range, sizes are still available!

adidas UK was said to have held over 20k pairs, that’s more than 5,000 compared with the ‘Grey‘ colourway and almost twice as much as the ‘Cream‘ style. That said, it wasn’t surprising to see most sneakerheads enjoying an easy win.

Unlike most other Yeezy releases, restocks kept returning to adidas UK up until 8.30pm on the Saturday.

The Yeezy Powerphase doesn’t quite enjoy the same frenzied popularity of others in the range, such as the ‘SPLY-350s‘. The tennis-inspired profile is likened to a Reebok Classic with many describing this as Kanye West’s laziest design.

That said, the buttery soft leather and understated aesthetic still makes it a lifestyle staple. The ‘Core Black’ Yeezy Powerphase is even more subdued than the first two styles. Everything gets doused in black apart from the green/red adidas Originals logo and that gold-foil Calabasas branding.

If you somehow missed out over the weekend, and didn’t get a raffle win, the Yeezy Powerphase ‘Black’ is now available for £100 via Footshop.

Stay tuned for more restocks via @thesolerestocks.
