We’ve all been there. When you buy some crisp, clean new laces for your favourite pair of sneakers but can’t quite get them laced perfectly. Lacing up your Nike Air Force 1 from scratch can be particularly tricky business because of the asymmetric placement of the holes.
But worry not, ladies and gents. Because we’ve got a play-by-play of how to lace up your sneaks with no fuss at all. It takes just a dash of time, a pinch of patience and a spoonful of concentration.
STEP 1: Thread laces through the top of the first hole ensuring that the excess lace is evenly measured.
STEP 2: Now cross over the laces and thread them through the top of the second lace hole.
STEP 3: Repeat step two on the third lace hole.
STEP 4: Thread the laces through the tab in the tongue to keep it firmly in place.
STEP 5: Tie the laces in a bow or tuck them in and you're good to go!
