Kanye West’s next Yeezy 700 V2 is releasing in just two weeks time. An earthy take on the chunky sneaker, the ‘Geode‘ has been on the wish lists of many sneakerheads since they first leaked at the end of last year. That said, if you’re planning to cop a pair, you should probably read on.
Like a totally inverted version of last year’s ‘Static‘, the ‘Geode’ is painted in a healthy dose of brown, black, and grey. Made from a wide range of premium materials, the upper is dressed in leather and suede, with mesh thrown across it for all-year-round wear. Thick rope laces tie the shoe together and an intricately detailed design lends for a somewhat aggressive aesthetic that’s all the rage these days. Down below, a chunky foam midsole houses a full length Boost unit for unbelievable comfort, and this is rounded off with a durable gum rubber outsole.
Now, if you’re planning to cop the ‘Geode’, you should probably know about the stock numbers. According to our sources, almost 20,000 pairs will be available from adidas EU. While that may sound like a lot on paper, it really isn’t.
To put this number into perspective, there were about 20,000 pairs of the Yeezy 700 ‘Inertia’ available on adidas UK alone, so the ‘Geode’ is INSANELY limited in comparison. To add to this, around 49,000 pairs of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘True Form’ will launch on adidas EU this coming weekend – that’s MORE THAN DOUBLE the amount of ‘Geode’!
If you really, really need to cop the Yeezy 700 V2 ‘Geode’, be sure to join the adidas queue pretty early on Saturday, March 23rd, and enter as many raffles as you can using our nifty guide!
