Jon Wexler Claims Stormzy's Yeezys Are "100% Real" 4

Jon Wexler, the man responsible for bringing Kanye and other high profile celebs to adidas, has weighed in on the “Fake” Yeezy debate between UK grime-artist Stormzy and sneaker leak account The Yeezy Mafia.

The public spat began on Sunday night after The Yeezy Mafia called-out Stormzy for wearing a “fake” pair of Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 2.0s during a performance at the MTV EMA Awards.

Stormzy responded in a series of tweets to defend the legitimacy of his crep choice, “I’m a big fucking man to be wearing fake Crep’s you fools what the hell did you think?”

This Twitter feud gets even more interesting as Stormzy is an adidas ambassador. It wasn’t long before Jon Wexler had his say, adidas’s VP of influencer and entertainment marketing.

“Shoes 100% Real” was posted to Wexler’s 50k followers, a show of support for #teamadidas.

Is the debate surrounding Stormzy’s Yeezy over? Who knows, but with two back-to-back Yeezy releases over the coming weeks, you could soon be adding more heat to your rotation.
