Kanye West is having quite a week. First a brand-new album drop, then two new Yeezy releases and now an Airpool Karaoke with James Corden.
The Chicago-born rapper teamed up with Corden for his famous Carpool Karaoke YouTube series. But in true Kanye style, he had to spice it up a bit. Not only did Ye show up in a plane, he brought his entire gospel choir with him for a live rendition of songs from his latest album - Jesus is king. It's already racked up nearly 100,000 views despite only dropping an hour ago, and when you watch it you'll see why.
Not only does Kanye treat viewers to a gospel version of Jesus Walks and a remix of Through the Wire, we're also given a reimagining of Nelly Furtado's I'm Like a Bird. Ye also gives us a little insight into his private life with Kim. Apparently, his ideal Tuesday night is tucking the kids into bed then heading to the b-room himself and reading the bible while Kim watches Dateline. Oh, and he wants seven kids and made a Kris Humphries joke. Kanye is funny?! Who knew.
A rare glimpse into the life of West - who is notoriously private-yet-outspoken - this YouTube video is a refreshing change for fans of the rapper. Appearing calm, comfortable and in good spirits, it's nice to see a different side to Ye.
