After taking the wraps off the ‘Giant Logo‘ pack a few days ago, Nike is continuing this trend with the release of the Nike Air Max 95 in a sweet new ‘Slate’ colourway. This new option doesn’t stray too far from the black Air Max 90 that released earlier this month, aside from replacing the upper with a blue-ish hue. This change really emphasises a large, colour contrasting “airmax” motif, making the branding the primary selling point of the item.
As this approach continues to grow in popularity, expect many more Air Max sneakers with oversized logos. While minimal, more elegant offerings have dominated the market in recent years, chunky shoes and large prints are gaining a sizeable following.
If you’re a fan of the Nike Air Max 95 ‘Slate’, the sneaker is available to cop in the US right now, and will be arriving at European shores pretty soon. Of course, we’ll keep you posted on when exactly they’ll release, so in the meantime, do check out this pure fire Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Flower Road’ custom made exclusively for none other than G-Dragon.
