Parley and adidas takes us to the deepest part of the ocean for this month’s second Ultra Boost release.
It’s all together more darker than the Ultra Boost Clima Parley which sports a clean mix of white and turquoise. And unlike that pair, the upcoming pack features the conventional thick textured Primeknit.
The Ultra Boost 4.0 Parley ‘Deep Ocean Blue’ is the official shoe for the “Run For The Oceans” global event. Targeted at running communities, this series of 5k runs brings awareness to the growing issue of ocean plastic.
As the name would suggest, this colourway is inspired by the deepest part of the world’s oceans, known as the Mariana Trench. It’s far more understated than previous Parley releases thanks to the deep navy colourway which could almost pass for black in certain lights.
Turquoise coloured branding hits the tongue and a contrasting slab of white Boost sits underfoot. Just like many styles in the range, 11 recycled bottles go into making each shoe.
The adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 Parley ‘Deep Ocean Blue’ is scheduled to launch on June 27th across global stockists.
Let us know in the comments if you’ll be adding this wavy silhouette to your rotation. Otherwise, take a look at the current adidas x Parley range here.
