Each year adidas unveil a new and improved Ultra Boost with subtle differences that set it apart from predecessors. Although there’s been no shortage of images for the Ultra Boost 4.0, a release date wasn’t expected until the end of the year.

Thanks to a shock launch at adidas UK, which just went live, you can now cop the latest evolution of Boost.

What started as a sports-performance silhouette quickly transitioned into the realm of lifestyle footwear. It wasn’t long before the Ultra Boost became one of the most sought-after creps in the game.

It’s the soft Primeknit upper which gives that leisure-inspired aesthetic. For a shoe which was initially designed for the tracks, it’s surprisingly versatile. Wear these with jeans or joggers – it’s a shoe without limitations.

It’s usually the Primeknit upper which differs across each Ultra Boost model, and the 4.0 is no exception.

It’s slightly chunkier with deep ridges that travel the full length of the shoe. A new ‘BOOST’ logo hits the inner sole and the conventional synthetic caging covers the sidewall.

Boost technology still promises that unrivalled support and comfort underfoot. Plenty more colourways are on their way, but for now, you can choose between ‘Black‘, ‘White‘, and ‘Grey‘.
