Most artists would be beyond delighted if their sneaker collab sold out within minutes, however, Skepta wasn’t at all happy when the Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe SK sold out last weekend. Taking to Instagram, the British grime artist thanked everyone who had bought a pair and added that the sneaker selling out so quickly was usually “something to scream and celebrate about.”
However, he continued, explaining that “honestly I’m not happy that so many of you miss out on being part of something I put so much emotion in.” Elsewhere in the caption, Skepta hinted at more chances to get the Air Max Deluxe SK as well as the possibility of more Nike SkAIR collaborations in the future. Take a look at the full apology message below.

Love and thank you to everybody that got a pair of #SkAIR today. Unfortunately, the #SkAIR 3 has sold out in main stores already. Generally this is something to scream and celebrate about but honestly I’m not happy that so many of you miss out on being part of something I put so much emotion in. There are a few boutiques that have the 3’s on hold so there is still chance, otherwise we are working on making the #SkAIR releases better. Apologies 🙏🏾 Skep.
