It’s absolutely insane to think that the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 first made its debut back in September 2016. Over the past three years, we’ve seen a ton of colourways drop, and while each one was hotter than the next, the hype for the silhouette has definitely gone a little downhill. Now, with summer coming to an end, a brand new YZY generation is just about to begin, and we’re beyond hyped!
First seen on the feet of Kanye West earlier this season, the Yeezy Boost 350 V3 ‘Alien’ is unlike anything we’ve seen before. While the V1 and V2 both featured more or less the same shape and structure, the upcoming V3 completely reworks this, opting for a mid-cut, sock-like silhouette that’s all the rage these days.
In terms of palette, it’s painted in an ultra clean white base with a digi camo-like grey pattern thrown across, bearing a striking resemblance to a Jackson Pollock painting. A slew of tiny perforations arrive on the lateral and medial side panels for an other-worldly look, and down below, the Boost midsole has been totally reimagined. While previous 350 releases made use of a unique ribbed design, the ‘Alien’ features a sleek and streamlined one that’s definitely welcomed.
If you thought Yeezy hype was over, you’d be dead wrong. Scheduled to release before the end of the year, the Yeezy Boost 350 V3 ‘Alien’ will retail for around £200 a pop. A wide array of colourways are rumoured, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more updates as it develops! Could this be the best Kanye x adidas sneaker ever made? Are you a fan of the updated design? Let us know what’s on your mind!
