From the high fashion Karl Lagerfeld team up to the wonderfully weird Supreme collection, Vans is really killing it the collaborations, and today, the American skatewear imprint is back with yet another incredible shoe.
Teaming up with Japanese craftsman Taka Hayashi for a new special footwear capsule, the summer ready offering comprises of nine pieces, including the Sk8-Hi 75 LX, the Chukka 75 LX, and of course, the Classic Slip-On 66 LX. Each model features three unique takes, spotlighting the brand’s heritage motifs such as checkerboard alongside Hawaiian floral patterns.
This drop marks the duo’s nineteenth collaboration to date, and we’re beyond excited to see what they have in store for their twentieth team up! If you’re interested in copping any of the sneakers from the Taka Hayashi x Vans capsule, expect a global launch on March 24th at select Vans Vault accounts.
In related news, it looks like Off-White and Vans could be teaming up for a slew of dope shoes. Courtesy of Japanese sneaker blog WTS 1987, the Off-White x Vans collaboration, which includes both Black Ball and Black Ball Hi models, make use crispy clean white canvas uppers with black sole unit.
