Kanye West and Virgil Abloh have been good friends and collaborators ever since they first worked together on the Yeezy brand.
Mr. West has recently shown support for Virgil's new position at Louis Vuitton by wearing an LV suit to 2 Chainz's wedding, paired with those infamous Yeezy slides that unfortunately looked slightly too small for his feet.
Today, Virgil spoke to a CNBC reporter about his latest collection with Serena Williams, and was quizzed on the competitive nature of the fashion world and his relationship with Kanye.
Kanye's long-term collaboration with adidas should logically put him at odds with Virgil, who is currently teamed up with Nike.

However, the Off-White x Nike pioneer was keen to dismiss rumours of creative friction between them due to their opposing brands, explaining:
“Us as designers, we're all designing the world at one time. So, you know, I think in the design space it's about the best creativity and Kanye and I are — we've been best friends, we'll be best friends until the end of time. You know, we're both excited to have platforms to create and yeah, we support creatives competing. Creatives just create.”
Here's hoping that we will see more collaborative work from Kanye and Virgil soon!
