There’s been countless renditions of the ‘Nomad’ runner for 2016 but it’s these unassuming releases which are often the fastest to sellout. The conventional EVA midsole plugs have been removed on the adidas NMD R1, leaving embossed branding in their place. It’s more simplistic yet still sets the shoe apart as an exclusive.
The soft Primeknit upper features a textured imprint of lines which contrast in an olive colourway against the black base. It’s an unusual touch that manages to work nicely thanks to the tonal details. The same shade of olive features for the three stripe welded branding and chunky suede overlay at the heel.
Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for this brand new design. The adidas NMD R2 Olive Primeknit is scheduled to release on Friday 2nd December via the retailers listed.
