To avoid confusion, this adidas Ultra Boost isn’t the same as one launched in 2016. That model was part of the UB 2.0 series while this upcoming model boasts an even more contemporary look.
The main difference is that chunky and textured Primeknit of the upper. Utilising a more refined engineering process, adidas give whole new meaning to ‘heat for your feet’. Ripples of thread come together to form a tightly woven and durable shoe that delivers maximum comfort.
Unlike the previous rendition, this pair is fitted with a translucent black lace surround. It’s another unique touch which marries perfectly with original Ultra Boost detailing. That includes the conventional Boost midsole underfoot, heel counter at the rear and embroidered tongue tab. And did we mention this is triple black?!
It hits everything in sight from the Boost to the Primeknit, inner and outsole. Given the huge success of that other style, which rapidly sold out, this is going to be a difficult cop. Avoid the gut wrenching L by following our Twitter page for more up-to-date news on this release.
The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Triple Black is scheduled to launch on Wednesday 1st March via the following retailers.
