The German retailer’s latest offering to the football game comes in the form of the adidas Copa Gloro Champagne – and what a beauty it is.
Although the boot launched a full week after adidas’s Champagne Pack, the tier-two model is actually a part of the highly-anticipated collection and comes boasting full-grain calf leather on the upper for enhanced comfort, ball control and first touch, along with conical studs underfoot for optimal traction.
The Copa Gloro is covered in an off-white “Champagne” colourway which resembles the 2002 predator iteration, and features black three-stripe branding on the sidewall, as well as the “Copa” emblem below the ankle.
What makes this pair of boots pop though, isn’t its relationship to adidas’s Copa series, or the fact that it’s fully leather (although that does help), but the aforementioned red tongue and inner lining which creates a striking contrast between the tongue and the upper – making them an out-and-out head turner on the pitch.
If you’re looking to get a pair of adidas Copa Gloros, we’d recommend going half a size up from your normal shoe size (depending on your preference, remember leather stretches), but if you like them to fit snug then opt for your size or half a size down.
The adidas Copa Gloro 17.2 Champagne is available now from the retailers listed below.
