Every once in a while a sneaker collaboration comes along that leaves the community in awe, and that’s where the OAMC x adidas Type O1 Green comes in. Where minimalism meets maximalism, it was designed by Supreme’s Luke Meier and Carhartt Work In Progress’ Arnaud Faeh, and it looks like something plucked straight from the future.
Featuring a design that’s inspired by mountaineering shoes, it’s crafted from a premium suede construction that’s soft to the touch and oozing with luxury. Striped laces tie the shoe together, and this is paired with a forefoot strap for the ultimate lockdown fit. In terms of the colour, the OAMC x adidas Type O1 Green is influenced by medical materials used on a surgeon’s scrubs. In fact, the official colourway name is ‘Medical Green’. As you move downwards, you’ll find an extra chunky midsole that’s taken from the classic Supercourt RX, this is touched up with a semi translucent finish and lined with a rubber outsole, finalising the design. Making other sneakerheads green with envy, the OAMC x adidas Type O1 Green is the most limited of the three colourways. Set to drop on September 26th, make sure you keep it locked at this page for an updated list of retailers!Read more
