adidas ZX 9000 Gore-Tex Underground Black

Adidas has just premiered its U.K.-exclusive “Underground” line. The adidas ZX 9000 Gore-Tex Underground Black is one of its silhouettes. The collection features a full-length Gore-Tex liner meant to fight against London’s unforgiving weather.

The upper of this ZX 9000 is a solid nylon with chunky rubber toe caps that give the shoe a boot-like look, mudguards and heel counter. A bright red accent on the buckled lace enclosure gives the upper a pop of colour. The toothed outsoles give this shoe some all-weather traction, making them great for snowy surfaces. Like its Ultra Boost sibling, the standard laces were replaced with speed laces and enhanced with a Fidlock closure. The Three Stripes come in the form of black rubber on the mid-panel, completing the all-black look.
