The Soloist x Converse All Star Disrupt CX Black showcases Converse’s brand-new and cutting-edge silhouette, and they’ve kicked things off by demonstrating the ability to collaborate with a notorious high-end fashion house. The pair channels influences from both parties, and the result is a clean and contemporary take on a classic.
The pair are decked out in a stealthy triple-black colourway and are only broken up via TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist’s minimalist typeface logo that’s printed across the uppers in white. They’re crafted from a new and improved durable canvas fabric that Converse have spent several years perfecting, while a clean and simple lacing system runs down the top of the pair.
Beneath the feet the label’s engineered midsole provides new levels of comfort and cushioning, borrowing technology from Nike, Converse’s parent brand. The silhouette is bulked out with the chunky and angular sole, showcasing the avant-garde designs that are often seen throughout TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist’s work.
The Converse All Star Disrupt CX High x The Soloist Black is available now via select retailers, however we don’t expect this high-end collaboration to hang around for too long. If you’re looking to pick up a pair, follow our list of approved stores above and cop your size before it’s too late.
