Here we take a closer look at the Converse One Star Ox Red White.
Converse is bringing back the trainer it originally released in 1974 and the retro 70s vibes are so real here. Fashioned from a plush red suede upper, they are soft to the touch and have a premium look. The bright red upper shows some contrasting white stitching along the sidewall, adding to the vintage look. A large white cut out star sits on the lateral sidewall; these sneakers are a classic look and you’ll be reaching for them every time. A row of perforations also runs alongside the star, ensuring good ventilation for an all day wear.
Underfoot, we have the classic Converse midsole, made of vulcanised rubber in a white hue. There’s a hatched texture at the forefoot of the shoe, with the black stripe running through the centre of the midsole all the way to the back heel sticker.
Underfoot, there’s the rubber outsole which features Converse branding with that distinct tread pattern for traction and grip, while and Ortholite sockliner ups the comfort factor some more.
