The Jordan 1 Flyknit Banned is a modern transformation of the hugely popular silhouette. One of the first silhouettes ever seen on the courts, this colourway was quickly banned by the NBA which preferred the conventional use of white footwear.
Michael Jordan ignored these penalties and instead chose to sport this controversial silhouette. It quickly become one of the fastest selling AJ1 silhouettes of all time.
Taking that original colourway, Nike now unveil this Flyknit crafted rendition. The conventional leather is switched out in favour of that soft and flexible material. It’s robust and durable while adding some breathability to this high-top silhouette.
The Banned Jordan 1 Flyknit is complimented by a leather crafted Swoosh across the sidewall. Staying true to the original silhouette, this pair is balanced out with a white coloured midsole underfoot.
The Jordan 1 Flyknit Banned is scheduled to release on September 9th via the listed retailers.
