Here we take a closer look at the Jordan 3 Free Throw Line. This limited-edition colourway pays homage to a historic moment in Michael Jordan’s career. It was during the 1988 Dunk Contest that the athlete managed to score a dunk from a take off at the Free Throw Line. That moment is remembered as one of this most iconic moments on court.
Just like the previous ‘Cement’ Jordan 3, this colourway opts for elephant print detailing across the mudguard to the toe box and heel. A clean white upper provides a nice contrast and extends across a chunky tongue.
Subtle hits of red feature to the AJ3 ‘Free Throw Line’, hitting the eyelets as well as the Jumpman branding which is stamped to the tongue. Finally, unique lettering features across the outsole. The number ‘3.21’ is a homage to the exact moment Michael Jordan made that shocking leap.
The Jordan 3 Free Throw Line is scheduled to release on 14th February via the retailers listed. Keep it here for more updates and stockist alerts on the run up to launch. Otherwise, take a look at more upcoming ‘All Star’ footwear via our ‘Release Dates’ page.
