Here we take a closer look at the Nike Air Force 1 LX Laser Orange. In one of the more bizarre colourways for 2020, Nike takes that deconstructed theme to a whole new level. In fact, this shoe gets inspired by the earliest sketches of the AF1. That's right, those uppers reveal a full blueprint of this iconic shoe!
Best-selling Air Force 1s of today are commonly those that reinterpet the classic design into something far more contemporary. One of the current trends is showing an industrial-esque finish, made famous by Virgil Abloh's Off-White collection. It seems Nike are continuing the trend with even more unique renditions.
Otherwise known as the Air Force 1 LX "Blueprint", each section of these shoe features a different sketched panel. Never before has the architecture of a shoe been put on display quite like this. A "laser orange" colour scheme features across those synthetic panels. The only contrast features to the light blue insignia as well as that midsole underfoot. All of the iconic details feature, it looks like an Air Force 1 but the subtle differences manage to set it apart from the rest.
