Air Jordan 1 Mid Tar Heels

The Air Jordan 1 Mid may not be the favourite silhouette of many sneakerheads, but it’s popular enough all the same. Having seen every colourway under the sun, the Jordan 1 Mid is now getting decorated with the University of North Carolina’s football team colours, and is titled “Tar Heels” after them accordingly. We’ve seen plenty of UNC colourways in the past, but let’s take a closer look at this one.

A blue rubber outsole melts into a creamy midsole, whilst the body matches in a blue hue above. The Nike Swoosh is outlined by black piping, corresponding to the Wings insignia on the ankle. A lighter blue sits beneath the panels, whilst the laces come in a hue that matches the outsole and overlays. At the top of the tongue, a black Jumpman sits pride of place.
