Nike Blazer Mid 77 Independence Day

Here we have The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Independence Day which is an upgraded version of this iconic sneaker. First introduced in 1972, this range was one of the first basketball shoes ever created by the brand. They were hugely popular, rivalling on court favourites at the time, adidas and Converse.  Over 40 years later they may have retired from the game but still remain an every staple amongst casual wearers.

This pair is showcased in a rich suede with leather trim against the distinctive mid-top silhouette. The shoe is constructed with an autoclave design which combines the outsole to the upper for better durability and a sleeker look. An elastic outsole with herringbone design offers better tracton on a variety of surfaces. This edition takes inspiration from the American flag with stars to the Swoosh and heel tab.
