The Nike Blazer Mid Rayguns is Nike's latest colorway of their timeless basketball sneaker from 1973. Before the Blazer Mid made its way to the streets, the silhouette belonged to the basketball court and was known as an essential pair of kicks by legendary basketball players for being one of the most comfortable shoes to shoot hoops in. A closer look at the new sneaker's official images shows the pair decked out in signature colours of an imaginary basketball team created for a Nike ad campaign known as the Roswell Rayguns.
The iconic Blazer shoe is seen here crafted from a white leather upper while yellow contrast stitching makes its way throughout the structure for a striking look, including the tongue. Maintaining the model's traditional features, gold sequin Swooshes appear on the lateral side while shades of green paint the Swoosh on the medial wall.
A cushioned midsole underneath is present as ever making these pair one of the most comfortable shoes on the market. Completing the look are grey suede overlays on the toe, further branding details printed on the orange heel tabs, and the ABA team's motif patched on the lateral heel.
The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Roswell Raygun is scheduled to release on the 15th of January at select retailers so be sure to turn your notifications on and keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier if you don't want to miss copping this at retail price!
