After the Nike P-6000 had a significant moment in 2019, it was only a matter of time before the silhouette saw a re-release. During a year in which Y2K running retros were selling like hotcakes, the P-6000 slotted in perfectly amongst the shelf full of M2K Technos and Nike Zoom Vomero 5s. Fusing the sole of an Air Pegasus 25 and the upper of the Air Pegasus 2006, the Swoosh birthed the P-6000 in all its 2000s techy-runner glory.
Adding to the list of strong colourways is this “White Yellow” edition, the classic white upper replacing the silver motif that we often saw with the ‘19 pairs. Made up predominantly of mesh, the shoe not only gives you the comfort of a runner but the breathability of one too. The “Yellow” is adopted in all the signature branding but really helps the embossed Swoosh stand out against its black embroidered outline. Echoing the previous releases, the metallic silver does make a welcomed appearance on the eyestay supports, giving the shoe that technical edge as mentioned above. This edition looks to swap out the insole branding which once adorned the “Bowerman Series” face logo and in its stead, we find a large Swoosh. Although sneakerheads can relax, as threaded throughout the laces you’ll find a “Bowerman Series” spell out logo donning the black and yellow motif.
If you’ve missed the P-6000s or need to swap out your old pairs, make sure you check out The Sole Supplier for more info on how to pick up this release!
