PUMA bestows a colourful MB.01 rendition for avid basketball players. Elevate your style on the basketball court with this PUMA MB.01 LaMelo Ball “Galaxy Blue”.
PUMA made a strong return to the basketball industry in 2018 by signing some of the top NBA draft picks. It didn’t stop there either, as the German- footwear brand also signed rapper Jay-Z as the creative director of its basketball devision. Ahead of the 2020 NBA Draft, PUMA signed LaMelo Ball, who eventually landed as the number two overall pick with the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets. His first signature shoe, the MB.01 launched in December 2021 and became a popular shoe over in the US. The MB.01 features an engineered mesh upper with plastic overlays on the forefoot for protection and durability. PUMA’s Formstrip logo adorns the forefoot, while various LaMelo Ball labels make up the tongue and heel. “1-of-1” and “Not From Here” branding pays homage to Ball’s unique playstyle as a tall 6’7 point guard. NITRO cushioning has TPU cages on the lateral side for stability and impact protection.
This colourway boasts galaxy-inspired graphics on the mesh upper with dark blue accents on the front. PUMA logos and LaMelo Ball labels come in orange to complement the vibrant colourway. The green rubber outsole completes this unique rendition.
