If you think Kanye West has ran out of colourway ideas, then you’d be dead wrong, as the upcoming Yeezy 700 Carbon Blue is about to turn your world upside down. Serving as his fifth blue 700 to drop, it’s a massive departure from his current monochrome line up that, while extremely versatile, is getting a bit too similar for some.

Described as the “What The 700” by many sneakerheads, what’s unique about the CARBLU is that it infuses four of the silhouette’s most iconic colourways into one, including the Wave Runner, the Mauve, and Salt, and of course, the Inertia. Made from a series of ultra luxurious materials, including supple suede at the toe box, midfoot, and heel, and premium leather gracing the lacing system. This is all overlaid atop an extremely breathable mesh base which makes this 700 incredibly wearable.

Down below, you’ll be greeted with a hefty foam unit that’s carved with aggressive edges and grooves. This houses a full length Boost unit for comfort that knows know bounds, and is lined with a rubber outsole that’s dipped in a slightly light blue.

According to the rumour mill, the Yeezy 700 Carbon Blue will release on December 21st, but this has yet to be officially confirmed. Set to be the last Kanye West x adidas drop of 2019, stay tuned for more!
