A Run DMC x adidas Superstar 50 Is In The Works

2020 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the iconic adidas Superstar. With Jonah Hill and Mickey Mouse collaborations in the works and additional Prada colourways on the horizon, it looks like the Three Stripes could be reuniting with legendary hip hop group Run DMC for a special edition release!

According to sneaker insider @pyleaks, the Run DMC x adidas Superstar 50 will drop in three flavours, including a "Black" pair and two "Footwear White" colourways. Classic Three Stripe branding shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while a portrait of the late, great Jam Master Jay can be found printed on the tongue.

Run DMC famously wore the Superstar without any laces, so it's safe to assume that when the Run DMC x adidas Superstar 50 finally drops sometime in April, it'll come laceless.
