On the eve of facing Scottish side Rangers in the Champions League tomorrow, AFC Ajax has now unveiled its latest pre-match collection. Just like Arsenal has just honoured its Jamaican supporters, this latest Ajax kit exists as a nod toward's Amsterdam's East African population.
For this latest kit, Ajax has once again tapped Amsterdam-based fashion and lifestyle brand, Daily Paper. Daily Paper has a rich and demonstrated history of celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Africa, so it only makes sense that the duo would once again collaborate for this latest rendition.
The kit itself flaunts a striking base inspired by East African beadwork. Triangular patterns have been made up of red, black and green hues, offering a vibrant appearance. On the chest, logos from Ajax and kit sponsor adidas are featured in a contrasting white tint.
Alongside the kit, we also see track tops, hoodies, joggers and crewnecks! For those looking to get these pieces, they are currently set to drop at adidas, Daily Paper and Ajax stores as of September 7th. In other fashion news, MKI MIYUKI ZOKU bridges the gap between seasons with its "Transitional Lookbook."
