After making her mark with her debut collection with adidas back in 2018, Danielle Cathari has been going from strength to strength with her eponymous label. Over the past few years, the Dutch designer has also worked with the likes of Woolwich and RETROSUPERFUTURE, before finally venturing into the world of footwear with the Clarks collab that launched just last month.
With August being such a busy month for releases, we can’t help but feel that this collab flew a little under the radar when really the Danielle Cathari x Clarks Wallabee collection is the perfect answer to all your autumn/winter footwear needs. As Wallabees continue on their upward trajectory for the coming season, Cathari has readied her favourite silhouette in a selection of colourways, including pastel pink and purple pairs, bold red and navy ones, and a super-wearable neutral brown. Each of these comes crafted from a combination of smooth and fuzzy suede, and features a panelled construction that leans into Cathari’s design language - with elements of deconstruction (and subsequent reconstruction) at its core.
If you didn’t get around to picking up a pair last month, then don’t panic - a couple of the colourways are still available at END. Clothing. Style with a cute midi skirt and GANNI graphic tee for the transitional weather, or with jeans and a Carhartt jacket for more of a cosier, workwear vibe. Just hit the links below to secure your size!
