BMX pro Nigel Sylvester has been a long time collaborator with Jordan Brand, most notably with the release of his highly acclaimed Air Jordan 1 High OG Sail in 2018. After collaborating on a series of Jordan 4RM colourways, it looks like Nigel and Jordan Brand are ready to take things to the next level with the launch of the Air Jordan 4 “Brick By Brick”. Following his Brick By Brick Truck activation on the streets of New York City last week, Sylvester hosted an exclusive dinner to unveil his latest sneaker and accompanying apparel collection.

The event offered the clearest look yet at the bold design, featuring a vibrant orange red upper, an off white Swoosh on the forefoot, and off white “BIKE AIR” branding on the heel, perfectly capturing Sylvester’s signature style. Reflective 3M accents enhance safety during nighttime rides, while a mini embroidered Swoosh on the toe cap adds a unique, stylish touch to this special edition release.

The sneaker takes inspiration from New York City’s iconic red bricks, paying homage to where Nigel’s BMX journey began. Drenched in a vibrant orange red hue, the “Brick by Brick” theme represents NYC’s architectural essence and Nigel’s unwavering perseverance.

At the same event in New York, an exciting teaser caught everyone's attention; on the feet of one of the models, no less. It appears this collection will feature not one, but two Air Jordan 4s. The second pair seems to draw inspiration from the familiar 'Fire Red' colourway. While we wait for official images to surface, mockups of the sneakers have already begun circulating online, fueling anticipation.
