Drop 1 of Represent's FW23 Collection Boldly Embraces the Brand's Roots

Fresh off the heels of its Manchester pop-up, the North's own Represent is now looking to keep the ball rolling with Drop 1 of its FW23 efforts. Embodying the luxury roots from which the brand has grown, this initial drop showcases a wealth of elevated styles in a number of subdued and sleek hues.

Entitled "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants," the collection looks to nod to the brand's current standing among the British design industry. Included within the range, we see leather bags, overshirts, and collared jackets, each referencing and embodying the growth maturity of the label.

While the collection bears no clear-cut lead, certain themes feature throughout. For instance, quality black leather has been used in abundance, making way for bomber jackets, holdalls, and shoulder sling bags. Elsewhere, the use of imagery pertaining to the likeness of the Ancient Greek hero Bellerophon features across pants, jackets, sweats, and tees.

In addition to apparel, Drop 1 sees the launch of the HTN sneaker silhouette to accompany the familiar Bully and Reptor Low styles. The new model arrives with a chunky construction, with the uppers formed from a hairy suede complete with leather trims.

Predicted to be a standout collection for the brand, Drop 1 of Represent's "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants" collection will launch on Thursday, the 3rd of August, at 8PM. In other fashion news, PICANTE's final SS23 delivery showcases a wealth of graphic tees.
