For those who appreciate clean, minimalist design with room for personal flair, HOKA has elevated its popular Transport silhouette. Maintaining the comfort and versatility that made the original trainer a commuter favourite, the brand has introduced key upgrades.
The new Project Transport features a shrouded ripstop upper combined with textured synthetic overlays, giving it a refined yet distinctive edge. For added support and durability, it’s anchored by a Vibram® outsole, ensuring the same ease of wear and adaptability as its predecessor.
As expected from HOKA, the Project Transport blends technical materials and streamlined design elements. While it’s more understated than the brand’s bold trail sneakers, calling it simple would be a stretch. This everyday sneaker is infused with the innovative engineering that defines HOKA’s trail shoe expertise, making it as functional as it is stylish.
One standout feature of the updated design is the ripstop zip up shroud, which covers the laces to provide extra protection against the elements. This addition cements its place in HOKA’s lineup of “Project” sneakers, known for zip up aesthetics. Surrounding the shroud are perforated overlays, hotmelt webbing, and reflective accents, resulting in a design reminiscent of Nike’s Air Max SNDR. However, true to HOKA’s DNA, the Project Transport leans more toward rugged, outdoor versatility than Nike’s urban offerings.
New for 2025, the Project Transport is now available at select retailers for £140. Keep it locked in at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news from the world of sneakers and more.
