Easily one of the most anticipated drops of the year, Corteiz and Nike have finally revealed the necessary release info surrounding their upcoming Air Max 95s. The collab was revealed a couple of months ago via a guerilla marketing campaign where Corteiz projected its logo onto NikeTown London, and was officially confirmed by the Swoosh just a day later. It was then revealed that the link-up would focus on the Air Max 95 silhouette, as eagle-eyed fans spotted footprints spray-painted around the city. Corteiz founder clint419 then took to Instagram to showcase the model, revealing an olive-hued 95 that boasted special-edition Corteiz branding.
A couple of marketing campaigns followed, and it soon became apparent that the sneaker was actually set to drop in three colourways. Now, the release info for two of the three has been revealed, with a couple of activations meaning that some fans are lucky enough to have already got their hands on a pair.
If you’re looking to add the Nike x Corteiz collab to your collection, then be sure to read on for everything you need to know about any drops across each colourway.
Both the “Olive” and “Pink Beam” iterations have already dropped through marketing activations. The “Olive” colourway was made available to winners of a crossbar challenge held in London, while the “Pink Beam” pair caused a small-scale riot in New York when a secret location was revealed to be a small bodega. The "Aegean Storm" pair later dropped via an activation in Paris.
The “Olive” colourway dropped on Corteiz’ own website on the 10th of March. The website was password protected, but tracking down the code was half the fun. The "Pink Beam" colourway later followed suit.
The third colourway will also be dropping this way on the 14th of April. Head over to the brand's site to sign-up ready for the 7pm drop.
Nike ran a SNKRS pass activation for sneakerheads to get their hands on Pink pairs that could be collected from NikeTown London. The window will be open on the 24th March. It's not yet been revealed if this will happen for the "Aegean Storm" pair.
While the “Olive” pair is still yet to see a SNKRS release, Nike launched the “Pink Beam” colourway through SNKRS on the 25th of March as part of its Air Max Weekend celebrations.
The "Aegean Storm" version is expected to launch on SNKRS, though a date is yet to be confirmed. Those who are familiar with the platform will know that this works via a raffle system, so you’ll need a little luck on your side. Be sure to hit the notifications over on the app so you don’t miss the raffle - it's not confirmed whether this will take place at 8am or whether it'll be a shock drop, but chances are the raffle won’t be open for long. We also recommend logging into your Nike account and making sure all your payment details are stored and ready for release morning, just to avoid any extra stress. Make sure to tag us in your GOT ‘EM screenshots if you get lucky!
If it gets to the point where you have to cop the pairs at resale, then don’t panic - we’ve got your back.
