When you go about styling a running shoe, it can feel like you’re leaning too much into the sport vibe, but sometimes that’s the point. We’ve taken on the Nike P-6000, an early 2000s running silhouette that is easygoing for every day but chic enough to dress up or down, and had a go at styling it down with two sporty outfits.
The Sporty Spice
For this outfit, we went all out with the sportsmaxxing, channeling our inner Sporty Spice. We’ve opted for this sage-green tracksuit by Nike – the piping gives the trackie a retro vibe, while the oversized shape gives it a comfortable and more contemporary feel – and styled it with this white/mink brown colourway of the P-6000. The green of the tracksuit really brightens the crisp-white of the shoe.
The streetwear baddie
Long shorts always give that streetwear baddie energy, and this Collusion grey cropped jogger will definitely up your rizz. We’ve paired it with this snake print/white P-6000, this “I Like You But I <3 Nike More” T-shirt, layered over a blue hooded jacket with a bubble hem, and some mixed metal rings to finish off the fit.
