Ever seen a pavement sticker spark a sneaker meltdown? That’s exactly what’s happening in the wake of the rumoured Yeat x Nike Goadome collab. Spotted across the streets of Vegas, Yeat’s signature Lyfestyle Corp logo sitting side-by-side with the Swoosh has set fan forums ablaze.
While not quite as overt as Corteiz’s guerrilla takeover of Nike Town London, the rollout has still whipped Yeat’s cult-like fanbase into full hype mode. Instagram sleuths clocked the markings first, and within hours, TikTok and Reddit were flooded with first-look edits, sneaker teasers, and emotional reactions. Yeat himself added fuel to the fire, tagging Nike in an Instagram Story captioned “Twizz Air”, a name now cemented in the sneaker lexicon.
Initial images have made it clear that the Nike Goadome is the silhouette of choice, a fitting model considering Yeat's affinity for heavy boots and chunky trainers. While we do not know if the version photographed was a sample or not, it is clear that the triple black Goadome seems to be the canvas. Yeat's touch comes in the form of metal studs, a Lyfestyle Corp logo lace dubrae and lace tips.
While no photos exist of the inside of the Yeat x Nike shoe, we suspect a custom sockliner bearing the same cobranding to be printed inside. A custom flip-lid shoe box has also been added in to bolster the unboxing experience, with a black and yellow colour scheme complementing the heavy use of Yeat branding.
Online, the energy is loud. Reddit users are drawing comparisons to Travis Scott’s collabs, while TikTok creators are dropping daily updates like it’s sneaker advent season. One viral comment put it best: “absolutely insane collab wtf😭🔥.”
But will it touch down in the UK? That’s where things get tricky. Rumours suggest this could be a ComplexCon exclusive, which fits both the fact that he is headlinging as well as the low units whispers. At the moment of writing, a wider EU release seems unlikely, at least for this first drop. Considering the history of CompleCon-exclusive drops, it would seem as though that if you are not heading over to attend, then the secondary market will be your best bet.
Still, if this really is Yeat’s Nike moment, it marks a serious shift. Oregon’s rising rap export stepping into official Swoosh territory? That’s a story worth watching. If “Twizz Air” does land near you… be sure to move fast.
