Drake’s NOCTA line in collaboration with Nike is no stranger to a footwear project, having previously launched the Hot Step Air Terra, as well as a take on the Zoom Flight 95. However, the duo’s latest effort is arguably one of the more bizarre silhouettes we’ve seen lately. Titled the NOCTA “Scuba Slide”, the kicks offer up a stealthy black look, appearing visually similar to diving fins worn by scuba-divers. Upon closer inspection, it’s clear that these use the same mould as the rarely-seen Nike Swim Fins, a model created specifically for divers. The only real visual differences here are the inclusion of NOCTA branding on the forefoot, along with “A.W.R” and “C.L” on the heels, standing for “All Wrongs Reserved” and “CopyLeft”.
While there’s been no official confirmation from either Nike or Drake regarding this release, the images seen here do appear to be direct from Nike’s in-house photo studio, hinting at the fact that these could well be set to release soon.
