Skepta’s fashion label MAINS is set to drop its highly anticipated AW25 collaboration with iconic British footwear brand Kickers on Saturday, 14th June 2025. The launch will be marked by a one-day MAINS pop-up store in Soho, London (18 Marshall Street), running from 12 PM to 8 PM, offering fans a chance to grab the exclusive footwear and apparel firsthand. If you cannot get down to the pop-up then the collection will also be available to purchase via the Kickers and MAINS London website.
This latest release commemorates 50 years of the legendary Kick Hi silhouette, reimagined through MAINS’ subcultural lens. The collaboration blends Kickers’ heritage with MAINS’ elevated, street-rooted aesthetic, introducing two key models: the Kick Mule and the Kick Hi, both available in unisex sizing (UK 3–12).
The Kick Mule is a brand-new silhouette created in collaboration with MAINS. Described as a premium slip-on adaptation of the original Kick Low, this pair is no longer for tearing up the school playground and more for when you are trying to channel your main character. With the rear of the shoe removed and lined with faux fur, the Mule is serving up a serious amount of luxurious energy. It comes in three colourways: "Tan Nubuck", "Black" (with off-white contrast details), and "Dark Red" (crafted from waxy pull-up leather with a vintage finish). The Mules are priced at £200, reflecting the additional design and craftsmanship required for this first-of-its-kind release.
In contrast the Kick Hi stays true to its roots, kitted out with a slew of premium textures that the silhouette has seldom seen. Past collaborations from the likes of Goodhood and Palace have stuck closely to the models territory, yet MAINS is ready to take a leap by giving the Kick Hi the premium ensemble it truly deserves. It arrives in two standout finishes: a "Dark Green" version with off-white accents and a "Grey Snake" print embossed with black detailing. Each pair will retail at £160, and all shoes feature dual-brand detailing including fleurettes, quarter tabs, and aglets.
The collaboration was first teased at MAINS’ Season 2 runway show in September 2024, held at the Royal Horticultural Halls. Models wore bespoke MAINS x Kickers prototypes alongside PUMA silhouettes—highlighting Skepta’s ability to bridge cultural and corporate boundaries, as this collaboration is tied to his fashion brand rather than his PUMA endorsement.
In addition to footwear, the pop-up will also stock apparel from MAINS Drop 3, including two graphic t-shirts and an embroidered bomber jacket, all crafted with MAINS’ signature attention to detail.
To celebrate the launch, a ticketed rave will take place on Wednesday, 19th June at Visions in Dalston, a personal venue for Skepta. Tickets are limited to 175 spots, priced at £5, and available exclusively via ballot. Entry is only open to those who purchase from the MAINS x Kickers collection within the first 48 hours online or at the pop-up. All proceeds will go to the Liveline Grass Roots Music Fund, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to community and emerging talent.
The collection will be available via mainslondon.com, kickers.co.uk, and select UK retailers including Footpatrol. With limited quantities expected, we encourage you not to sleep on this drop. You can find out where to buy the MAINS x Kickers collection via The Sole Supplier!
