Formalwear might not be something you’d expect to see from Supreme, but the imprint’s latest collaboration with Timberland could be the closest thing we’ll get. Teaming up with the Boston-based outdoor footwear manufacturer for something other than a chunky boot, the duo are set to release a luxe leather boat shoe, just in time for the Christmas party season.
Boat shoes and loafers have definitely been gaining traction this year, as streetwear starts to shift towards a more grown-up direction - spurred on by brands like Aimé Leon Dore. This collab comes in the form of a new take on Timberland’s 3-Eye Lug shoe, which comes in three colours, and features intricately woven uppers and a 360-degree lacing system. Other details include a debossed Timberland logo on the medial side and a metal logo plate, as well as co-branded insoles. The shoes all come lined with red leather, taking Supreme’s branding up a notch.
The Supreme x Timberland boat shoes are set to drop on the 8th December, with a Japanese release following on the 10th. If you’re looking to level up your party season ‘fit, then be sure to head over to Supreme’s site in order to get your hands on a pair.
