Off the back of yet another link-up with Clarks Originals last week, New York streetwear imprint Supreme is keen to keep the collaborations rolling for Spring 2023. This time around, the brand has tapped fellow Big Apple residents Bernadette Corporation for a mix of apparel and accessories.
For those unfamiliar with Bernadette Corporation, it's a collective, brand and art project formed in the same year as Supreme in 1994. Blurring the boundaries between art, fashion and activism, the group has taken many forms over the years leading to mainstream attention because of its provocative approach and critique of consumer culture.
The collaboration itself sees the duo deliver a handful of apparel and accessories, with a heavy focus on typography styles. Included, we see track jackets, short-sleeve shirts, baseball-style tees, football shirts, track pants, chinos, work shorts and T-Shirts. Fonts and prints decorate the exterior of each piece, with a sporadic approach to placement.
The accessory portion of the collaboration is somewhat baffling. Silver nipple clamps are featured alongside iridescent Spalding basketballs and what seems to be a tea towel. Either way, we're sure Supreme or Bernadette Corporation fans somewhere will be clamouring to get their hands on this collab. If you're interested, the collaboration will drop this Thursday, the 18th of May. In other fashion news, Adrien Brody fronts Kith's summer 2023 campaign.
