To say that Crocs is having a bit of a moment is a massive understatement. If you were spotted rocking a pair of Clogs a few years back, you would've been the butt of all jokes. With that said, the Colorado-based footwear company enjoyed over $2.3 billion in sales in 2021 alone, and more and more people are beginning to add pairs to their collection. In response to this ever-growing popularity, not only has Crocs teamed up with multiple industry icons for a series of special collaborations, it looks like they've also got a brand new model incoming - and we're taking our first look yet!
Unveiled by sneaker insider @sneakertigger in "Stucco" and "Military Brown" flavours, this as yet untitled silhouette takes the classic Clog formula and dials it up to eleven. While the perforations along the top half have remained pretty much the same, the midsole has been completely reworked from the ground up. Boasting a range of nine wavy cutouts across the underside of the slide, these lines are pretty unique to say the least.
A rugged buckle system has also been introduced for a more utilitarian look and feel. Possibly inspired by Salehe Bembury's coveted Pollex Clog, the result is a truly breathtaking piece of footwear that is sure to turn heads for all the right reasons.
Not much else is known about this brand new Crocs Clog, but our sources tell us that they'll debut towards the end of July and the start of August. Hit those "Notify me" buttons to be kept up-to-date, and in related news, Jordan Brand is finally joining the clog shoe trend!
