Hot off the back of announcing a couple of fashion-forward collabs with JJJJound and Aries, Crocs is back to break the internet with the newest addition to its line-up. Breaking away from its growing place in the fashion scene, it’s opted for a much more bizarre theme, celebrating everyone’s favourite Dreamworks character, Shrek.
As you can probably imagine, the Shrek x Crocs Classic Clog come decked out in the ogre’s familiar green shade, with Jibbitz arriving in the form of his ears and nose. Continuing the theme, the backstrap comes wrapped in a fluffy brown fabric (in line with Shrek’s vest, the style icon that he is), while the brand’s classic crocodile logos have also been replaced with Shrek’s signature slimy S.
Now, before you write this one off, let us remind you that novelty Crocs do actually have a fair amount of hype behind them, with the brand’s Lightning McQueen versions consistently hitting three figures at resale.
